Initial Consultation Meeting©
One and a half hour initial consultation meeting/planning session

  • The Initial Consultation meeting is an hour and a half meeting where a school list is determined for the student of 10-12 schools. This discussion includes a review of the student’s official high school transcript, official standardized test scores, and activity sheet including all extracurricular activities. A school list is determined for the student of ten to fifteen schools to apply to that meet the student’s profile. If the student is a junior, a plan of action for the last two years of high school is determined in order to best prepare them for the college process. This discussion also includes any additional considerations such as athletic recruitment, art/music/photography/theater applicants, special needs students and alumni cases. A plan of action and timeline will be determined at this meeting to best suit the needs and goals of the student in the college process.

International College & Graduate School Counseling

  • Counselor advises student in their current academic setting on class choices and scheduling, provides suggestions for academic enrichment opportunities, designs academic extension projects to build skill sets to prepare student for a variety of professional careers, and advises on options for additional coursework that serves to meet client learning goals

  • Discussion focuses on future college plans and advisement services to meet the student’s needs.
